LPSC Residential Electricity Bill Comparisons for September 2012

 Attached you will find an analysis of residential electric rates in Louisiana for September 2012. Based upon a comparison of all companies, for the typical residential customer’s bill of 1000 Kwh/month, Cleco has the highest average bill of $109.80, while Claiborne Electric Cooperative has the lowest average bill of $74.11. Comparing investor owned utilities, Cleco has the highest of $109.80, while Entergy Gulf States has the lowest of $76.59. When comparing electric cooperatives, Jeff Davis Co-Op has the highest at $95.71, while Claiborne Electric has the lowest at $74.11.
